So last night I attended the Iglu & Hartly show at the Roxy in Hollywood, and it was probably one of the best nights of my life to say the least. Not to mention, all of the bands that played before them were pretty much amazing as well! My sister won VIP tix to go meet Iglu and Hartly backstage so that was pretty rad too, what a chill group of guys! Anyway, so there is this sweet band from Long Beach, CA and I seriously loved their stuff so I just figured I had to post it. They don't have any vids or anything but check out their myspace! So the other day I decided to swing into Forever 21 on the 3rd street promenade while on my way home from work. I hate going in there because it is so overwhelming and crowded, but I went in anyway, and to my surprise found these bleached shorts for only $17.80, I thought it was quite a steal and I couldn't wait to come home and studd them! another solo career in the making! Melanie Pain from Nouvelle Vague is off on her own with some sweet new tunes. She is singing in french in a lot of them and I absolutely adore it, I am not sure when or if her album has come out yet but just from listening to the tunes on her myspace, j'adore :)
